Bob Dylan exhibition call for artists

The exhibition is open to all artists; of all mediums and all ages.

Bob Dylan, a painter in his own right, has used his own art on album sleeves (e.g. Self Portrait) and has exhibited internationally in recent years. Many say that his songs conjure up both lifelike and surreal images, his songs telling stories to which the listener supplies their own meaning and characters. It may be that a certain Bob Dylan song paints a picture or sculpture in your head – any images or representations of Dylan’s songs from across the decades or any images of the changing man himself are what we are looking for in the “Inspired by Bob Dylan” exhibition.

The artists who apply will each have at least one piece selected and displayed (each artist can submit up to three images each). There will be a non-returnable entry fee of £5 per entry, to help cover admin and advertising costs.

To enter, send in up to 3 images of your work, jpegs on a disc or good quality copies, each clearly marked with their title, price and your name and contact details, along with a non-returnable fee of £5 per entry (cash/postal order/cheque payable to Worcester Arts Workshop Ltd) to:

Kate Cox, Worcester Arts Workshop, 21 Sansome Street, Worcester,
WR1 1UH

Please do not send originals at this stage, images only please!
